FAQs

General/Policy Questions:

Our booking software, Campspot offers the option for guests to secure a specific site during their reservation for a fee of $9, whether it’s made online or via phone with your Front Desk. Once a site is locked during the booking process, it’s designated as “locked” in the Reservation Grid.

Rates are set based on date, site type and occupancy of each site. Since the rates vary, the best way to see the price is to click “Book Now”, enter the dates of arrival and departure, number of guests and preferred site and you will be able to see the rates.

Up to 2 vehicles are allowed per site. If you have more vehicles, there is free overflow parking by Camp Store.
All visitors must register in the office and get a car pass. Day passes are valid until 10 pm. Visitors are subject to all campground rules. EVERY VEHICLE MUST DISPLAY A CAR PASS. If any visitor is 18 years of age or older and is staying overnight, a fee of $12 per night will be due.

All reservations are paid in full at the time of booking. Skillet Creek Campground reservations are NON-REFUNDABLE. If cancelled or modified before 14 days of camping arrival date, a camping credit will be issued for the full amount minus a $10 credit processing fee. The camping credit is valid 1 year from the date that the camping credit is issued. If cancelled within 14 days of the camping arrival date, no camping credit or refunds will be issued. Confirmations are emailed and verification of the camping dates are the responsibility of the campers. By providing your credit card number, you are authorizing Campspot and their credit card processing company to bill your credit card for the full amount of the reservation, including any costs accrued during your stay, and outstanding balances not paid at the time of departure. No call/no show results in a full charge on a credit card.

Many activities are free as well (examples: movie night, glow parade, etc). If there is a charge for a craft or activity, the price will be posted. Amenities that incur an extra charge are: games in game room, pedal carts and pond equipment (kayaks, stand up paddle board, etc)
No, but you do need to bring your own pole or purchase one in the store. Bait is also generally stocked in at the camp store. Please know our fishing pond is catch and release.
We are investing in our wifi across the campground. Our plan for 2024 is that we will have excellent wifi coverage in the following areas: swimming pond, lodging areas, game room, camp store area and in the 100 site loop. If you are near any of these areas, you should have great wi-fi coverage. In 2025 we plan to have coverage in the 300, 400 and 500 site loops.
